LONG BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SFMade, a CMTC California’s Manufacturing Network Partner located in San Francisco, recently provided strategic guidance to probiotic and shots manufacturer Kefir Lab to help the company establish themselves in the market.
Kefir Lab was founded in 2019 on the idea that good health begins in the gut. Since then, Kefir Lab has been dedicated to helping people around the world restore their gut microbiomes with functional probiotic kefirs and shots. With the mission to “make the world a better place one gut at a time,” Kefir Lab’s products are doctor-developed, USDA organic-certified, and 100 trillion CFU per serving.
As a small company, Kefir Lab faced many business challenges early on. One of their biggest challenges was finding a place to manufacture their products with limited resources and capital. Another big challenge was defining their brand and the personality of their company. Kefir Lab noticed a disconnect between how they perceived themselves and how customers perceived them. They needed help to determine the direction in which they should take the company. Furthermore, they needed support to identify their value proposition and assistance to properly position themselves in order to reach their target audience.
