Soleo Health Awarded National Accreditations in Three Programs From The Joint Commission

Company Earns Two New Accreditations and One Re-accreditation for its Commitment to Quality Healthcare and Patient Safety

FRISCO, Texas--()--Soleo Health, an innovative leader and national provider of complex specialty pharmacy services, announced today it has been awarded three accreditations from The Joint Commission, a global driver of quality improvement and patient safety in healthcare. The Joint Commission seeks to continuously improve health care for the public, in collaboration with other stakeholders, by evaluating health care organizations and inspiring them to excel in providing safe and effective care of the highest quality and value.

Soleo Health earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® across three programs by demonstrating continuous compliance with the accrediting organization’s standards. New accreditations were awarded for both the home infusion therapy and specialty pharmacy programs and a re-accreditation was earned for home care. The Gold Seal is a symbol of quality that reflects a health care organization’s commitment to providing safe and quality patient care. Each accreditation is valid for 36 months.

Soleo Health underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review to earn these prominent designations. During the visit, a team of Joint Commission reviewers evaluated compliance with the aforementioned standards spanning several areas, including patient management, infection prevention and control, emergency management, medication management and leadership.

“As a private accreditor, The Joint Commission surveys health care organizations to protect the public by identifying deficiencies in care and working with those organizations to correct them as quickly and sustainably as possible,” said Mark Pelletier, RN, MS, chief operating officer, Accreditation and Certification Operations, and chief nursing executive at The Joint Commission. “We commend Soleo Health for its continuous quality improvement efforts in patient safety and quality of care.”

Drew Walk, Soleo Health’s chief executive officer, commented on awarding of the accreditations: “Our focus on clinical excellence, quality care and patient safety has always been at the forefront of Soleo Health’s delivery model. We attribute the dedication of our team, an unwavering commitment to our patients, our innovative complex specialty pharmacy portfolio and deep expertise in therapeutic management services among the key reasons we earned these distinctive honors from the Joint Commission.”
