Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits Promotes Jeri Rippon to Senior Vice President, General Manager of New York

MIAMI & DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (Southern Glazer’s) – the world’s preeminent distributor of beverage alcohol – today announced the promotion of Jeri Rippon to Senior Vice President, General Manager of New York, effective immediately. In this role, Rippon will oversee strategic operations and commercial execution across the New York market, reporting to Marty Crane, Executive Vice President, Subregional General Manager, New York & Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Massachusetts & Rhode Island.

Since joining Southern Glazer’s in 2020, Rippon has demonstrated exceptional leadership, most recently serving as General Manager, Vice President, Sapphire Division of New York. Prior to that, she led the Atlantic Division in the New York market, driving business growth and operational excellence.

Before her tenure at Southern Glazer’s, Rippon held leadership roles across the beverage industry, including serving as President of Wright Beverage Distributing, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction. She also held key positions at Molson Coors, including General Manager for New York, Chain Director for the Northeast, and Director of Marketing. Additionally, Rippon gained experience at Manhattan Beer Distributors and Gallo Sales Company, further solidifying her expertise in the industry.
