Inscopix Showcases New Brain Mapping Technology and Key Scientific Presentations at the 50th Annual Meeting of the Society for Neuroscience

Highlights include a new dual color imaging system, novel applications for blood flow dynamics and neurotransmitter release, and a digital learning platform.

PALO ALTO, Calif.--()--Inscopix, Inc., a brain mapping platform company developing neurotechnologies to decode the brain for improved disease treatments, will display the latest product and research innovations around its miniature microscope-based neural circuitry technology at the 50th annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience (SfN), to be held virtually November 8-11.

Showcasing new technologies that enable dual color imaging, neurotransmitter release and blood flow dynamics visualizations with Inscopix’s revolutionary platform for understanding the circuitry of the brain, these ground-breaking new technologies will help researchers gain deeper insights in neural circuit function and behavior that can ultimately lead to breakthrough discoveries and the development of novel, more precise therapeutics for neuropsychiatric, neurodegenerative diseases and brain-related injuries. Data will be shown on all three novel imaging capabilities at Inscopix’s scientific presentations at SfN.

New Imaging Technologies for Neuroscientists

Inscopix’s SfN virtual booth will highlight key innovations that expand the company’s product and applications portfolio.

  • Dual Color Imaging - The nVue™ system, the most innovative Inscopix platform yet, enables simultaneous dual color imaging in freely behaving subjects, making it possible to investigate the interaction between two distinct brain signals in longitudinal studies.
  • Blood Flow Imaging - For neurovascular coupling insights, the new application uses the nVue system and allows simultaneous imaging of neural activity and blood flow dynamics in cortical and deep brain regions.
  • Neurotransmitter Imaging - The novel application enables visualization of genetically-encoded optical sensors of neurotransmitter activity with calcium dynamics.

In a significant step towards empowering the customer community, Inscopix is also introducing a new digital experience and learning platform named Inscopix iQ. Tailored to the individual customer’s research needs, Inscopix iQ is one central online platform integrating numerous scientific, technical and purchasing resources to nurture a multimodal scientific journey.
