LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Cantor Fitzgerald, a leading global financial services firm, announced today the appointment of Mark Goldman as Head of European Fixed Income Sales, former Managing Director of Fixed Income Sales and Trading at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities. The appointment of Mr. Goldman is a continued step in the strategic expansion of the firm’s European business.

Mr. Goldman most recently served as an Advisor to a Macro-Economic Investment Fund at Zolotov Trust. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Fixed Income Sales and Trading at Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International where he restructured the yen business around a hedge fund client base and created the strategic trading group comprising short-term and long-term proprietary trading, the quantitative analysis group and introduced a new risk and settlement system. In addition, Mr. Goldman was Managing Director of Institutional Client Businesses at BNP Paribas. Mr. Goldman has served in a number of senior management roles including Managing Director, Head of European Fixed Income Sales at Societe Generale; Managing Director, Head of European Fixed Income Sales at Nomura Securities; and Managing Director, Head of European Fixed Income Sales at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Goldman received an M.I.M. at Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management, an M.A. in Comparative Literature, and a B.A. in German History from the State University of New York.
