AngelEye Health Earns SOC 2 Type 2 Certification, Elevating Trust and Security in NICU and Pediatric Family Engagement

Certification reinforces AngelEye’s dedication to transparency, continuous monitoring, and providing assurance to hospital partners

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AngelEye Health, a leader in neonatal and pediatric family engagement solutions, today announced it has obtained its SOC 2 Type 2 certification, highlighting its continued commitment to safeguarding the information entrusted by hospitals, care teams, and families.

SOC 2 Type 2 is a third-party evaluation of whether an organization’s security controls are not only well designed, but also operate effectively over a sustained period of time. An independent audit firm reviewed AngelEye’s security program and protocols across areas such as access management, change and release management, secure software development, logging and continuous monitoring, vendor risk management, incident response, and staff training. The result validates AngelEye’s maturity as a healthcare technology partner and offers hospital systems additional assurance amid growing concerns about vendor-related security risks.

Hospitals are navigating heightened cybersecurity risk, with many recent breaches originating in vendor networks. According to Christopher Rand, CEO of AngelEye Health, achieving SOC 2 Type 2 helps partners expedite their due diligence by providing independently verified proof of AngelEye’s security posture from day one, reflecting a deliberate investment in rigor and transparency on behalf of NICU and pediatric teams and the families they support.

“In the wake of industry breaches, health systems are understandably cautious,” said Justin French, CTO of AngelEye Health. “Showing up with SOC 2 Type 2 certification means we can start every relationship from a place of trust. It saves partners time, reduces uncertainty, and demonstrates that we run security consistently and with proof.”

AngelEye’s controls pair policy discipline with ongoing oversight. The company conducts regular policy reviews, requires HIPAA and security awareness training for all employees and contractors, and uses continuous monitoring so activity can be logged and audited over time.

“SOC 2 Type 2 demonstrates that security is built into everything we do, from access management and development practices to ongoing monitoring,” added Jay Maples, VP of Technology at AngelEye Health. “This process holds us accountable to continuously reviewing policies, training our team, and improving our posture year after year. For our hospital partners, it means confidence that AngelEye is committed to safeguarding their data over the long term.”

To further promote transparency, AngelEye has launched a Trust Center that provides stakeholders with real-time visibility into its security posture and compliance documentation. Hospital partners can request access to the SOC 2 audit report through the portal: https://trust.angeleyehealth.com/
