Compucom's Full Lifecycle Observability Framework integrates data from key areas of enterprise IT, including support, workplace technology, employee experience, compliance, and IT operations, into a centralized dashboard. Utilizing AI and analytics, it provides a comprehensive view of the IT environment, offering insights and recommendations for overall improvement.

The integration with OpsRamp will further enhance Compucom's ability to deliver observability across hybrid infrastructure, network, security, and cloud services.

“Monitoring enterprise IT infrastructure has become increasingly complex with the adoption of hybrid technologies, spanning on-premises data centers, remote locations, and multiple cloud platforms,” said Compucom CIO/CTO Mike Flanagan. “HPE OpsRamp software, combined with our end-user monitoring tools, provides us a 360-degree view of a customer’s IT infrastructure, leveraging the data to provide actionable intelligence.”

Enhancing the Depth and Breadth of Insights

OpsRamp introduces end-to-end observability, covering all aspects of the environment, including infrastructure, network layers and applications. By integrating data from metrics, events, logs, traces, and network flows, Compucom can provide customers:

  • Deeper insights into dependencies.
  • Accelerated root cause analysis.
  • Proactive identification of issues before they impact users.
  • Artificial Intelligence for IT Operations (AIOps).

This unified approach enhances operational efficiency and reliability, reducing downtime and empowering organizations to deliver superior digital experiences in complex, hybrid, multi-cloud environments. HPE reports that OpsRamp has helped organizations achieve benefits such as:

  • 95% reduction in event noise and alert floods.
  • 50% reduction in the meantime to discover and resolve incidents.
  • 20% reduction in labor and operational costs.

“This partnership brings together best-in-class infrastructure monitoring tools with industry-leading support and services from Compucom,” said Varma Kunaparaju, co-founder of OpsRamp and senior vice president of cloud platform for HPE. “The combination increases productivity across enterprise IT, bringing the data and insights forward to enable real-time monitoring and solutions.”

Compucom Delivers Transformational Cost Optimization

Compucom’s FLO Framework, comprising a suite of integrated tools, seamlessly integrates with customers’ environments. The insights it provides are further enhanced by the Customer Experience Office, who provide final recommendations to customers. This empowers Compucom to provide transformational cost optimizations to customers and now with OpsRamp, it will further enhance these capabilities through:

  • More Comprehensive Monitoring: OpsRamp helps Compucom cover not just SNMP-based monitoring but also metrics, logs, events, traces, and network flows across the entire IT environment, ensuring a holistic view of infrastructure.
  • More AI-Driven Insights: Compucom leverages additional AI-powered analytics to correlate events, reduce noise, and identify root causes faster. This helps in proactive incident management and reduces the time to resolution.
  • Unified Dashboard for IT Operations: The FLO Framework provides a set of drill-down dashboards for all aspects of a customer’s IT environment. The Infrastructure dashboard, leveraging OpsRamp, provides a unified view across multi-vendor, multi-cloud IT estates for monitoring and managing IT operations, enhancing visibility and control.
  • Further Automation Capabilities: Intelligent automation features can automate routine tasks, such as patch management, compliance checks, and incident response.
  • Robust Security: The framework leverages OpsRamp’s role-based access control and secure data transmission, ensuring that monitoring data is protected.
  • Integration with Existing Tools: As with all parts of the FLO Framework, OpsRamp is designed to integrate into an existing IT ecosystem. OpsRamp supports over 3,000 integrations, allowing seamless incorporation without disrupting workflows.

“The FLO Framework, now with OpsRamp, offers a superior, efficient, and comprehensive IT operations management solution compared to traditional tools," Flanagan said. "By leveraging the advanced capabilities of OpsRamp, we help customers proactively manage their infrastructure and address issues more effectively."
