Attentive’s AI Marketing Innovations and Business Milestones Set New Standards Heading into 2025

Patent wins and revenue milestones solidify Attentive’s leadership

  • Attentive’s victory in the patent infringement lawsuit settlement with Emotive underscores the value of its two-tap mobile technology.
  • Attentive breaks the $500M Annual Recurring Revenue milestone in 2024.
  • Attentive is working with Google to bring Rich Communication Services [RCS] to the market, pioneering yet another new standard in dynamic personalization for consumers and brands.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Attentive®, the innovative leader in AI-powered mobile marketing, kicks off 2025 with a series of achievements that solidify its position as the frontrunner in transforming brand-to-consumer communication into personalized, impactful experiences for the world’s top brands.

Patent Lawsuit Wins

In December 2024, Attentive reached a favorable settlement in its patent infringement lawsuit against Emotive, receiving an undisclosed monetary payment. As part of the agreement, Emotive has acknowledged the validity of Attentive’s two-tap patents and agreed to stop using two-tap and any technology covered by Attentive’s patents. Attentive’s Two-Tap technology revolutionized mobile marketing, allowing consumers to seamlessly sign up for brand communications with just two clicks.

According to a commissioned Forrester Consulting study, brands leveraging Attentive’s list growth tools, including Two-Tap, saw SMS subscriber growth of up to 25% annually, delivering an additional $4.5 to $11.8 million in revenue.

“The Attentive sign-up allows for a frictionless customer experience, and we’ve seen a 15% increase in new subscriber opt-ins,” said Derhan Icel, Senior CRM Manager of Monsoon.

Attentive now holds eight issued patents for its groundbreaking Two-Tap technology, further strengthening its competitive edge.

Breaking the $500M Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) Milestone

In 2024, Attentive also surpassed the $500 million ARR milestone—a benchmark achieved by fewer than 1% of venture-backed companies. This success is driven by Attentive’s advanced technology and unique AI and data capabilities, which continue to redefine customer engagement.

“With AI, we are witnessing a paradigm shift in brand-to-consumer messaging that will render legacy ‘batch-and-blast’ approaches obsolete,” said Amit Jhawar, CEO of Attentive. “Our strong 2024 performance has set the stage for a transformational year ahead for both our company and the industry.”

Attentive and Google Work to Pioneer Rich Communication Services (RCS)

Attentive is further shaping the future of brand communication through its work with Google to advance Rich Communication Services (RCS), which is quickly gaining industry traction and redefining mobile messaging yet again. Attentive will provide its customers with early access to the latest RCS developments by hosting an exclusive event with Google on January 16, as part of National Retail Federation’s Retail Big Show week in New York City. Attendees will explore how RCS, powered by AI, is revolutionizing brand-to-consumer communication.

"We’re thrilled to work with Google to shape the future of business-to-consumer messaging," said Jhawar. "Our focus remains on empowering our customers with actionable insights and innovative technologies like RCS and AI, enabling their brands to stand out and drive meaningful customer engagement."
