California Pizza Kitchen Unwraps Festive Flavors, Holiday Deals & An Iconic New Dessert for the Season

COSTA MESA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), the iconic restaurant brand renowned for bold, innovative flavors with a California point of view, is kicking off the holidays with a limited-time menu of three new items that are perfect for the season. New offerings include the flavorful Blistered Shishito Peppers Appetizer, the elevated – yet comforting – Braised Short Rib Ragu Pasta and a blissfully bite size twist on CPK’s most iconic dessert, the Mini Butter Cake Flight.

Starting next Tuesday, November 5 through Monday, January 6, guests can savor these soon-to-be seasonal classics:

• Blistered Shishito Peppers: Fresh shishito peppers blistered in a hot pan and finished with tamari, garlic, red chili and toasted sesame seeds. Heads up, one in 10 might be spicy!
• Braised Short Rib Ragu: Slow braised tender short rib, delicate ribbons of pappardelle pasta, our house-made ragu with California tomatoes, cream, shaved garlic and wild Greek oregano topped with fresh parsley.
• Mini Butter Cake Flight: A bite-sized twist on our classic Butter Cake! Choose three flavors to build your flight, served with vanilla Häagen-Dazs® ice cream.

This is especially true of our wildly popular Butter Cake, now reimagined for the first time ever as a Mini Butter Cake Flight, with four decadent toppings to choose from!”

For the Thanksgiving season, CPK is also making it easy to gather with friends around their holiday tables, by introducing its Friendsgiving Sides menu. Whether as the host or a guest, fans can easily order from a selection of delicious sides and have the confidence that their meal will be complete, delicious and stress free. Choose from a selection of sides including the fan-favorite Spinach Artichoke Dip, Caesar Salad, Crispy Smashed Potatoes, Broccolini, indulgent Mac 'N' Cheese and Cinnamon Apple Cobbler. Sides feed up to 12 and are offered for $40 each or two for $70. Friendsgiving Sides are available from November 5 through November 27, and guests are encouraged to order ahead at cpk.com for takeout or delivery.

And perfect for the season of giving, CPK fans can now treat themselves to a bonus when they give the gift of CPK gift cards. Guest will earn a $25 bonus card for every $100 in gift cards purchased, or a $10 bonus card for every $50 in gift cards purchased. This offer is available now through January 6 and the bonus cards are redeemable from January 1 through February 6, 2025.
