ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Level Access, the leading provider of digital accessibility solutions, today announced the appointment of Mark Zablan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). With a storied career of scaling digital experience software companies and a passion for mission-driven work, Zablan is positioned to lead Level Access through its next chapter of growth and innovation. Founder and former CEO Tim Springer will continue to serve on the Board of Directors and work closely with Zablan during the transition.
Zablan’s decision to join Level Access was driven by the unique opportunity to combine his expertise in transforming enterprise software businesses with a deeply impactful mission. Throughout his career, Zablan has held executive leadership positions at organizations such as Experian, Adobe, and Sitecore, as they evolved toward assuming market leadership.
Most recently, Zablan served as CEO of Emplifi, where he played a pivotal role in unifying the company’s social media, marketing, and customer care offerings into a comprehensive customer experience platform. Under Zablan’s leadership, Emplifi significantly expanded its market presence and secured a growth equity investment led by Sixth Street Growth with a valuation of more than $1 billion.
“I am honored to join Level Access, a company that leads in digital accessibility by embodying a deep commitment to creating a more equitable digital world,” said Mark Zablan, CEO, Level Access. “The digital accessibility landscape is changing daily, and Level Access is uniquely poised to meet the evolving needs of organizations and the people they serve. As we move forward, my focus will be on harnessing the company’s existing strengths, accelerating our growth, and continuing to innovate so we can empower more organizations to make great digital experiences accessible to everyone.”
Under Zablan’s leadership, Level Access will continue pursuing new growth opportunities while remaining grounded in its mission—to enable all people to live their best lives through access to technology. His vision aligns with the company’s goal of expanding its market presence and driving forward its innovative solutions that meet the complex usability needs of organizations around the globe.
“Level Access needs a chief executive who can both manage its current scale and apply the breadth of experience needed to drive impactful future growth,” said Tim Springer, Founder and Former CEO, Level Access. “Mark’s track record in scaling software companies, his commitment to customer centricity, and his clear commitment to our mission, make him the perfect leader for this next phase.”
Zablan’s global experience will be instrumental as Level Access delivers more accessible digital experiences to new markets. While at Adobe, he served as president of its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) operation, which brings critical market understanding as deadlines loom for organizations in the European Union to comply with global accessibility regulations like the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
“I’ve dedicated my professional career to technology companies that improve online experiences. Accessibility is core to this commitment,” Zablan added. “I am thrilled to lead a mission-driven organization built on the solid foundation that the team has established over the past 25 years and now supported by current investors, KKR and JMI.”
