CSI Customer Signature Bank of Arkansas Opens New Banco Sí Branch, Flagship Location Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary

Powered by CSI, the community bank’s fully bilingual bank division provides Spanish-only banking services to Springdale’s growing population

PADUCAH, Ky. & SPRINGDALE, Ark.--()--Signature Bank of Arkansas, a community bank headquartered in Northwest Arkansas, recently opened its second Banco Sí location in Springdale. The new banking experience allows the bank to reach new customers and meet the demand for Spanish banking services in the region, as the Hispanic population is projected to increase to 19% of Northwest Arkansas’s total population by 2026.

Founded in 2005, Signature Bank of Arkansas has opened 10 locations throughout Arkansas, augmenting its in-branch, community-centric operations with a digital experience supported by CSI, a leading provider of end-to-end financial software and technology. To expand in an evolving ecosystem, the bank recognized the need for translation functionality within its digital banking ecosystem. As a result, it created a one-of-a-kind bilingual banking experience—which also includes bilingual staff in its branches—that can accompany its growing account holder base at every stage of their unique financial journeys.

“The rollout of Banco Sí personifies our mission to meet customers where they are—both in terms of community engagement and technology investment,” says Brant Ward, president of Signature Bank of Arkansas. “Our team has received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the Hispanic community of Northwest Arkansas, which is exactly why we do what we do. Our approach is built on the idea that every one of our customers deserves the opportunity to bank how they want to—and without barriers. It’s something we’re passionate about and it’s exciting to see our mission resonate so well with our account holders.”

With the support of CSI, the bank integrated Banco Sí with CSI’s NuPoint® core banking system to customize its digital banking experience with a variety of features for account holders who prefer to bank in Spanish, including:

“Our purpose as a technology provider is to do everything in our power to make our partners’ visions come to life,” said David Culbertson, president and CEO at CSI. “In Signature Bank and Banco Sí's case, our collaboration has resulted in more than just a competitive advantage—it embodies what it truly means to be a community bank. Banco Sí strengthens and empowers its community by providing services to a growing population that is often underrepresented and therefore underserved.”

This September also marks the two-year anniversary of Signature Bank of Arkansas’s flagship Banco Sí branch in Rogers, Arkansas. The bank plans to expand its Banco Sí offering further into its established markets in the future. As a result of the effort’s ongoing success, Signature Bank of Arkansas and CSI were awarded the 2024 Big Bank Theory “Serving the Underserved” award by Tearsheet.
