The Honest Kitchen and Cozymeal Celebrate National Dog Week with a Complimentary Cooking Class for Pet Parents

Pioneer in Human Grade Pet Food Joins Forces with Cozymeal to Feature a Fido-Friendly Interactive Cooking Class

SAN DIEGO--()--The Honest Kitchen, maker of healthy, high-quality, human grade pet food on a mission to help as many pets as possible get on the road to good health through good food, has teamed up with Cozymeal, the world’s premier destination for culinary experiences, to feature a free virtual cooking class for pet parents. Taking place on September 22 at 12:00 pm PDT in celebration of National Dog Week, Cozymeal and The Honest Kitchen will feature a cooking class geared toward pets. During the 1.5-hour interactive class, pet owners will learn how to make a full menu of gourmet, dog-friendly recipes that can be easily prepared at home during this week-long holiday dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our canines.

This complimentary, live-streamed class offers attendees a unique opportunity to discover new recipes and treat their canine companions to delicious, wholesome meals. Participants will prepare three dog-licious dishes: a warming Doggy Hot Toddy, a hearty meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and homemade Blueberry Celebration Cake – all from scratch with human grade ingredients.

National Dog Week holds a special place in our hearts at The Honest Kitchen, which is why we’re thrilled to offer pet parents a unique way to show love to their dogs this year," said Lucy Postins, Founder and Chief Integrity Officer at The Honest Kitchen. “From day one, our mission has been to support the health and well-being of pets through wholesome and nutritious food, so partnering with Cozymeal to offer accessible, creative, and healthy recipes for pups was a no-brainer. Pets are family, and what better way to celebrate them than with what they love most – food! We’re thrilled to share these recipes with our community and look forward to seeing everyone’s culinary creations.”

Founded in her own kitchen over 20 years ago, Postins was committed to finding a cure for her beloved dog, Mosi, by finding fresh ingredients and testing recipes together. The Honest Kitchen was built upon a tireless search to improve not only her dog’s livelihood, but every pet’s individual need. Through recipe creation and careful ingredient selection, the brand was able to set an industry standard that challenged regular old-fashioned pet food most people were used to. Proud to have accomplished a positive change in the way people view pet food, The Honest Kitchen is thrilled to be partnering with Cozymeal to expand people’s culinary experiences in their own dog’s lives.

As a dog lover and chef, I couldn’t be more excited to teach a class dedicated to making our pets feel cherished during National Dog Week,” said Cozymeal Chef, Stacy D. “In addition to being a Chef, I’m also an advocate for clean eating and an educator on avoiding harmful ingredients. It was an easy decision to collaborate with The Honest Kitchen – they truly care about the nutrition and ingredients we’re feeding to our pets. I’m delighted to lead this unique class and share these specially crafted recipes with individuals who share the values of The Honest Kitchen and myself.”

The Honest Kitchen x Cozymeal’s interactive online cooking class will take place through Zoom on Sunday, September 22 from 12:00 pm PDT to 1:30 pm PDT and will be free for all participants. Participants can visit www.cozymeal.com to register online, with the class holding up to 400 people. The Honest Kitchen will also offer all attendees an exclusive coupon of 20% off and free shipping for the items featured during this class.
