The investment follows on GSV’s recent investments in Utility Associates, Inc. (Utility), SOMA Global, and STRAX Intelligence Group, creating a platform of integrated technology solutions for public safety and government agencies. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The funding will provide additional capital to increase Kologik’s investment in the innovation of cloud-based solutions that empower public safety agencies to have all the information they need at their fingertips. The company’s solutions include computer-aided dispatch, records management, jail management, and the COPsync mobile real-time information network. Kologik will continue to be led by CEO Paul San Soucie based in Baton Rouge.
