Closing the Gap in Emergency Response: ESO to Acquire Logis Solutions, Becoming the First to Link Data Across the Healthcare Continuum

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ESO, a leading data and software provider, announces its upcoming acquisition of Logis Solutions, a global provider of computer-aided dispatch (CAD), logistics and billing software serving emergency medical services (EMS), fire departments, emergency communications, and hospitals. ESO and Logis are uniting to integrate data and workflows from call taking, dispatch and billing across the emergency response continuum.

Logis offers logistics software to improve operational efficiency for emergency services and to help responders and healthcare providers deliver timely resourcing and need-matched care. At its core, Logis strengthens ESO’s foundation serving EMS, fire departments, and hospitals and extends ESO’s data-driven insights to dispatch and emergency communication centers, while enhancing mobile integrated health capabilities.

"ESO and Logis will deliver a comprehensive set of solutions aimed at improving community health and safety through the power of data. This partnership will scale our mission impact more fully by integrating our products, data and workflows, as well as leverage machine learning and AI to drive further innovation,” said Eric Beck, President and CEO of ESO. “Our goal is to improve how we serve our customers and use data from both Logis and ESO to enable better outcomes and greater value for all stakeholders in community health and safety.”

This acquisition will unlock transformational value for the public safety and healthcare industries. The combination of ESO and Logis will:

  • Enhance Outcomes: Drive enhanced operational efficiency and improve community health and safety outcomes by connecting emergency communications, responders and hospital outcomes to deliver the right resources, at the right time with the right cost.
  • Enable New Care Models: Pair Logis’s CAD with ESO's Electronic Health Record to empower mobile integrated healthcare, delivery innovation and value-based workflows.
  • Optimize Revenue Recovery: Seamlessly support billing and EMS revenue cycle management through interoperability and automation.

“At Logis, we’re excited about the opportunity to innovate as part of a broader platform. Both ESO and Logis share a commitment to revolutionizing the way first responders work to better serve their patients and communities,” said René Munk Joergensen, Partner at Logis. “Optimizing for outcomes is at the core of what we both do, so the combination of our teams, technology, and data is a natural fit in supporting our shared mission with customers.”

The upcoming acquisition will unify ESO’s and Logis’s leading software offerings, linking data between CAD, Billing and ePCR solutions to improve operational efficiency, interoperability and community safety while also enhancing value realization.
