Jani-King Southwest Sponsoring $100,000 Hole-in-One Contest at WM Phoenix Open

Players From Jani-King Spring Clean Challenge Team Eligible for Prize

PHOENIX--()--As part of the “team reveal” for its Jani-King Spring Clean Challenge promotion, the leading global commercial cleaning franchisor’s Arizona office, Jani-King Southwest, will award $100,000 to the first hole-in-one by any of the “Challenge” team on TPC Scottsdale’s famous hole number 16 Wednesday through Sunday at the WM Phoenix Open in Arizona. $90,000 will go to the Thunderbird Charities in the player’s name and Jani-King Southwest’s name and $10,000 will go to the caddie.

Jani-King International has been a sponsor on the PGA Tour since 2007 and over the years had our brand aligned with a dozen players and hosted customers and prospects at numerous PGA Tour events,” said Mike Biggs, Jani-King’s Senior VP of Sports Partnerships. “The WM Phoenix Open has been our longest hospitality relationship and Jani-King Southwest has provided cleaning services at the event since 2008.”

The Jani-King Spring Clean Challenge features longtime Jani-King playing ambassador Ryan Palmer along with fellow Tour veterans Joel Dahmen, J.T. Poston, Adam Schenk and Sepp Straka. Dahmen, Schenk and Straka are participating in the WM Phoenix Open.

Those in the field will display their Jani-King green golf towel on the 16th hole during the Wednesday Pro-Am and then sign it for Jani-King’s hospitality suite alongside the 17th fairway in Cove 17. Those not in the field or playing in the Pro-Am will announce their participation in the Challenge on social media.

“Jani-King Southwest has been the commercial cleaning partner of the WM Phoenix Open for 16 years and have valued our opportunity to clean at this great event and network with the broader business community of Phoenix,” said Julie Robinson, Jani-King Southwest CEO. “We are very proud of the exceptional service our local franchisees provide to ensure a first-class fan experience.”

Participating player caddies, all of whom carry Jani-King’s iconic branded white towel, will replace it with a green version for the nine PGA Tour events taking place in April through the PGA Championship in May. A $55,000 bonus pool is up for grabs for first, second and third place among the players based on total FedExCup points earned during the events. The caddie of the winning player will receive a $5,000 bonus and a commemorative trophy. Additional green towels may appear with various other caddies on the Jani-King Spring Clean Challenge weekends.
