Building Industry Association of Southern California Announces Hall of Legends and Century Awards

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Building Industry Association of Southern California (BIASC) today announced that the first class of the BIASC Hall of Legends and Century Award winners, two exemplary groups of individuals recognized for their notable work and significant impact in the building industry, will be revealed at the BIASC Centennial All Regional Gala Installation on Friday, November 10, 2023 at the Rancho Mission Viejo Equestrian Center in San Juan Capistrano, California. The inaugural Hall of Legends memorializes and pays tribute to talented leaders, while the Century Awards honors individuals and organizations for their longstanding, distinguished partnerships within the industry.

The BIASC Hall of Legends honorees will be elected based on specific criteria to qualify for induction. This criteria includes a display of extraordinary leadership for BIASC and/or the building industry; Longstanding and distinguished tenure with BIASC; Proven leadership within their company or the association; Innovation that advanced the association/their company or our industry; Contributions to a community, a region, statewide, or nationally.

BIASC will induct a new Hall of Legends class on an annual basis based on nominations from the four chapters and councils. Inductees will be recognized through various outreach programs that include news and magazine features, video documentaries, events, and social media, including educational and youth programs around the Southern California region.

Specifically created to celebrate BIASC’s centennial anniversary, the exclusive BIASC Century Award Winners will be selected for their leadership, achievements, and commitment to supporting housing and sustainability in the Southern California region. All winners will be announced and honored at the gala.
