Ride for a Reason: Join CycleBar Studios Around the World to Support Breast Cancer Research this October

Leading Boutique Cycling Brand Partners with Susan G. Komen to Raise Funds and Spread Awareness Through Global CycleGives Rides

IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--While incredible strides have been made in the fight against breast cancer in recent years, 43,170 people still die of breast cancer each year. In an effort to spread awareness and contribute to breast cancer research, programs and services in support of individuals diagnosed with breast cancer, CycleBar, the world’s largest indoor cycling franchise, is supporting Susan G. Komen this Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Through two special CycleGives events, CycleBar is committed to driving change and offering hope to those impacted by this disease, including many CycleBar instructors and members. With this charity initiative, CycleBar hopes to unite its community and supporters for a common goal and support our friends who are battling breast cancer.

On Saturday, October 14th, and Saturday, October 21st, 2023, CycleBar studios at participating locations around the world are hosting CycleGives rides. To reserve a bike, riders are asked to donate $10 or more, for those who can’t make a ride and would like to make a donation can do so here. All proceeds from this global event will be donated to the Susan G. Komen®, the world’s leading breast cancer organization. You can check your nearest studio’s schedule at CycleBar’s website to book your spot in the two upcoming CycleGives rides.

In addition to the CycleGives rides, CycleBar is also encouraging riders to rock their pink CycleBar gear every Wednesday for the month of October. 15% of the proceeds from CycleBar’s exclusive CycleBar x Breast Cancer Awareness collection will go to Komen. Several new styles inspired by Breast Cancer survivor and CycleBar instructor and studio owner Jennifer Tipton are now available for purchase at your local CycleBar studio.

“We are thrilled to partner with CycleBar for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This collaboration exemplifies the power of collective action in the fight against breast cancer,” said Sarah Rosales, Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Direct Marketing at Komen. “By Partnering with CycleBar, we’re not only raising vital funds for breast cancer research, but spreading awareness and empowering communities to take action in the fight against breast cancer.”

“At CycleBar, we value our community over everything else. This is why we are supporting a cause that impacts so many of our valued members, amazing instructors and extended family,” said Trevor Lucas, President of CycleBar. “We are thrilled to offer this opportunity for our communities to come together, make an impact, and ride to keep the fight going for our loved ones and those affected by Breast Cancer.”
