RealBlocks Unveils Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) Solution for Fund Managers at IPAVision 2023

Enterprise-grade solution enables simplified, secure, scalable experience for alternative investors

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--RealBlocks, a technology platform for alternative investments that provides an end-to-end digital investing process and secondary trading, today announced the launch of RealBlocks SPV, an enterprise-grade SPV solution for managers. The offering is designed to streamline the formation, administration and management of SPVs.

“SPVs are gaining popularity among managers and investors as they offer a number of benefits, including limited liability and risk isolation, lower minimum-investment commitments for larger funds, and the ability to invest in a specific fund or strategy,” said Perrin Quarshie, CEO of RealBlocks. “At the same time, starting and managing SPVs can be a complicated process, which is why we created RealBlocks SPV. Our intuitive solution uses an automated and comprehensive approach for launching and managing all aspects of SPVs online, including administrative, regulatory, and compliance components. It also offers connectivity with the reporting technology used by RIAs, independent broker-dealers and wirehouses so that even small asset managers can raise enterprise-level capital from investors.”

The RealBlocks SPV solution is tailored to meet the unique needs of customers and can support entity formation, structuring day-to-day operations and compliance. Digital fund setup enables managers to get to market quickly and the fully automated process ensures efficiency across the entire fund lifecycle. The secure and reliable technology ensures seamless front, middle and back-office integration with real-time reporting.

Today, RealBlocks services over $77 billion in assets under administration, and its technology is now being used by some of the most respected real estate, private equity and alternative investment managers in the world, as well as RIAs and wealth management firms. This year, the firm also recently launched a product called Queue Protection in response to growing demand for a solution to help relieve mounting liquidity pressure for private funds hitting redemption limits or being gated.
