Diverse Leadership Group of Distinguished Industry Veterans Brings Valuable Public and Private Sector Experience to Help Guide Growth and Expansion for Cloud-Native Security Analytics Leader

ADDISON, Texas--()--Securonix, Inc., a leader in Next-Gen SIEM, today announced the appointment of former National Cyber Director Chris Inglis to the Securonix Strategic Advisory Board. Inglis joins a distinguished group of leaders with private and public sector experience, including the National Security Agency (NSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Booz Allen Hamilton, Citigroup and more. The mission of this multifaceted team is to actively contribute to the goals and success of the company by providing critical thinking and insight into customer demand, industry trends, evolving technology and regulatory change.

The newly constituted Strategic Advisory Board consists of six members, including Inglis, who served as the nation’s first National Cyber Director and advisor to the President of the United States Joe Biden on cybersecurity. Inglis recently retired after more than 40 years of federal service, including 28 years at the NSA, where he held several leadership positions. Inglis was named the agency’s deputy director in 2006 and served in this capacity for eight years under Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

“I have dedicated my career to protecting the public and private sectors against cyber threats and have seen firsthand the impact that the ever-increasing pace of technology transformation, inexorable growth in cyber threats, rising geopolitical tension and intense global competition is having on the industry,” said Inglis. “Securonix is well-positioned to meet the demands of today’s threat landscape and support modern enterprises in protecting themselves against sophisticated threat actors. I look forward to working with the Strategic Advisory Board members, Nayaki Nayyar and the rest of the senior leadership team to ensure Securonix is in the best position to execute on its vision and become one of the most important cybersecurity companies in the world.”

The members of the Strategic Advisory Board represent more than 200 years of cybersecurity, national security, business and technology industry experience. In addition to Inglis, Strategic Advisory Board members include:

  • Patrick Gorman, former Executive Vice President at Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Tom Harrington, former Managing Director and Chief Information and Security Officer at Citi
  • Mike McConnell, former Director of National Intelligence and former NSA Director
  • Kirstjen Nielsen, former United States Secretary of Homeland Security
  • Robert N. Rose, former member of the United States Department of Homeland Security Advisory Council and former member of the NSA Advisory Board

“The Securonix Strategic Advisory Board is an exceptional group that possesses an unparalleled track record of success,” said Nayaki Nayyar, CEO of Securonix. “Each member is a well-established and respected industry leader, chosen based on their individual merits and ability to foster collaborative relationships that will better serve the needs of our customers. I look forward to working with this collective as we take our next step as a company.”

The formation of the Strategic Advisory Board closely follows Securonix’s launch of the industry’s first Unified Defense SIEM, which provides organizations with 365 days of ’Hot’ data, Powered by Snowflake, for fast search and investigation, best-in-class threat content-as-a-service, proactive defense with continuous peer and partner collaboration, and unified Threat Detection, Investigation and Response (TDIR) experience, all in a single platform.
