SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Axiad, a leading provider of organization-wide passwordless orchestration, today announced that Silicon Valley veteran Jon Skoglund has joined the company as chief financial officer (CFO).
As CFO, Skoglund will ensure that Axiad puts optimal infrastructure and processes in place as it scales for continued upward growth in the fast-growing identity security space. Its award-winning Axiad Cloud platform recently propelled the company to a #1 ranking in the passwordless authentication market on PeerSpot.
“We are thrilled to have Jon on board to leverage his deep knowledge of the technology industry, as well as his experience with both private and public companies and the VC/PE investor community,” said Yves Audebert, Chairman, President and Co-CEO of Axiad. “The addition of Jon to our team supports our strong position as a leading provider of passwordless solutions, enabling organizations to master their complex environments and shift from a fragmented to a holistic approach for authentication.”
A Silicon Valley veteran, Jon has more than 25 years of experience in high-growth public and private companies across various industries including SaaS and cybersecurity. He joined Axiad from Anomali, where he successfully helped build the company infrastructure as it scaled for strategic growth. Jon previously served as CFO at ShareThis and Axcient, to name a few, and has held various progressive financial positions at companies such as Intuitive Surgical, SGI, KPMG, and National Semiconductor. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University.
“Axiad has a proven, trusted management and engineering team that are aligned for innovation and expansion, which attracted me to this role. This is a meaningful time as the company moves to the next phase of its growth, and I look forward to fortifying Axiad’s financial operations as we prepare to take advantage of possible organic and inorganic growth,” said Skoglund.
Skoglund replaces Thomas Jahn as CFO, who is retiring after serving Axiad for many years in this role.
