Lincoln International Adds Mihir Shah as Managing Director

Further Strengthens Firm’s Global Capital Advisory Expertise in the Technology, Media and Telecom Industry

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lincoln International, a global leading investment banking advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Mihir Shah has joined as a Managing Director in the firm’s Capital Advisory Group, an integrated team of product experts that deliver comprehensive and tailored advisory services spanning the entire capital structure. Mihir has extensive expertise advising technology-focused private equity firms and corporations on structuring and arranging financings in the Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) industry.

“We are seeing a significant increase in the number and size of financing transactions in the TMT sector, as well as increased deal complexity driven by new capital structure alternatives,” said Christine Tiseo, Managing Director and co-head of Lincoln’s Capital Advisory Group. “Despite uncertain economic conditions, the software sector is holding up particularly well, creating momentum that we are well positioned to capitalize on. Mihir’s expertise will be immediately additive to our efforts and we are thrilled to welcome him to our platform.”

Mihir joins two other capital advisory Managing Directors specialized in TMT, Justin May in Chicago and Xenia Sarri in London, and a growing bench of capital advisory professionals working with clients in the TMT subsectors, including vertical and enterprise software, artificial intelligence, telematics / logistics, cybersecurity, digital health, alternative data, customer experience and tech-enabled services.

Prior to joining Lincoln, Mihir was a Managing Director at CIT in the TMT finance group where he led West Coast technology sponsor coverage and the build-out of the recurring revenue loan business. Previously, he was a member of the investment banking division at Société Générale and Citigroup.

“TMT is an incredibly attractive end-market for investors with a lot of opportunity and has continued to see new entrants to the market,” stated Mihir. “The result is a step function increase in traditional and alternative capital providers that are seeking a conduit to participate in the innovation economy. I couldn’t be joining the Lincoln team at a better time.”
