Bright Machines Expands Executive Team with Appointment of Wes Kapsa as Chief Revenue Officer

Former Anaplan, Oracle executive brings extensive go-to-market experience as company enters next phase of growth

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today, Bright Machines, an innovator in intelligent, software-defined manufacturing, announced the appointment of Wes Kapsa, a seasoned technology sales executive, to its leadership team as Chief Revenue Officer. He joins as Bright Machines continues to drive the adoption of its industry-transforming technology and expand into new manufacturing verticals. Wes brings expertise in guiding disruptive technologies to market while building high-performing teams that enable sustainable, long-term growth.

Wes joins Bright Machines from Anaplan, where he was most recently Area Vice President of North America and Latin America Commercial Accounts. During his time at Anaplan, he built the company's first commercial sales team and grew his business to become the top performing region globally.

Prior to Anaplan, Wes held leadership roles at NetSuite and Plex Systems, where he built national sales teams, and at Oracle, where he landed the company’s largest cloud HCM SaaS solution deal and was recognized as a top 10 Account Executive globally. At NetSuite, his team added over 100 new logos in 2017 alone, growing the businesses year over year.
