RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Maximus, a leading provider of government services worldwide, announced today that Tim Meyers has been named as the company’s new Vice President of Federal Cybersecurity. In his new role, Meyers will be tasked with developing and managing the cybersecurity solutions across all of its federal clients.

Prior to his new role at Maximus, Meyers served for four years as a director of cybersecurity with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) EDGAR project. In this role, Meyers led the agency through a shift in cybersecurity by adopting new methods for protecting and securing data. Previous to that, Meyers held leadership roles in cybersecurity with IBM and Accenture Federal.
