EXTON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AFS® reached another milestone in the delivery of the industry-leading, digital, real-time commercial lending platform—AFSVision—by providing a new container-based deployment model orchestrated by IBM’s (NYSE: IBM) Red Hat OpenShift.
This cloud native version of AFSVision offers significant benefits to all types of financial institutions to build their environments more efficiently and securely, and manage integrations within their ecosystem. With containers, and deployment automation, AFSVision can be installed more easily and consistently, regardless of whether the target environment is a private cloud, public cloud, or hybrid.
The containerized version of AFSVision was recently delivered to a U.S. subsidiary of a top 5 global bank with over €2.5 trillion in assets.
“This containerized release provides our customers with unmatched flexibility to run AFSVision in an auto scaling dynamic cluster that takes advantage of the Kubernetes ecosystem to simplify operations,” said Rad Laney, AFS Chief Information Officer. “This is a pivotal step in our modernization program that includes implementing DevSecOps with a secure (CI/CD) pipeline. By using containerization, we are able to deliver the value of AFSVision to more clients with increased flexibility, easier scalability, and greater efficiency gains.”
