ZOLL TherOx SuperSaturated Oxygen Therapy to Be Highlighted at TCT Scientific Symposium

CHELMSFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZOLL^® Medical Corporation, an Asahi Kasei company that manufactures medical devices and related software solutions, announced that its TherOx^® SuperSaturated Oxygen (SSO₂) Therapy will be highlighted at the upcoming Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) annual scientific meeting November 4-6 in Orlando, Florida. The TCT Scientific Meeting, the world’s premier conference for interventional cardiovascular medicine, will offer both live and virtual options for the 2021 meeting.

ZOLL TherOx will host product demonstrations and discussions with thought leaders who will share their real-world experiences with SSO₂ Therapy in technology suite #CS 5.

In addition, Stephen Lynch, MD (Beaumont Hospital, MI) will be presenting a case study featuring SSO₂ Therapy and one patient’s remarkable recovery during the Moderated Challenging Case session TCT 517 on November 6 at 1 p.m. EDT in Halls A-B, Level 1.

SuperSaturated Oxygen (SSO₂) Therapy is the first and only FDA-approved treatment shown to significantly reduce myocardial damage in heart attack patients after percutaneous coronary intervention.
