NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hyperscience, the automation company, today announced the appointment of Tony Lee as its first Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Lee brings more than 25 years of diverse engineering experience from leadership positions held at high-growth enterprise organizations.
Prior to joining Hyperscience, Lee advanced the product and engineering teams at mortgage processing startup Snapdocs. Before that, he led the Application Engineering team at Dropbox, where he focused on developing enterprise-grade innovations with exceptional consumer-facing user experiences. And during his tenure at Zendesk, Lee scaled the engineering department team by over 560%, while also successfully leading the organization through a major IPO. He also held leadership roles at Box and Yahoo.
“The world is moving faster, so organizations need to move faster to keep pace with rapid change. It’s clear that the need for digital transformation and improved organizational agility has never been more critical,” said Peter Brodsky, CEO and co-founder of Hyperscience. “We’re entering a new phase of hyper-growth where our solution has the opportunity to improve the lives of hundreds of millions of people. This is an ideal time to bring Tony on board as we continue to invest in our product and machine learning capabilities to deliver the best outcomes for current and future customers.”
As CTO, Lee will oversee several arms of the organization, including Product, Machine Learning and Engineering, working to unite and align these diverse teams to advance the company, and its new class of automation software. “The unique approach to AI and automation, the leadership, and the far-reaching societal impact of the technology are what drew me to Hyperscience almost immediately,” said Lee, who is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. “I’m honored to join the talented team at Hyperscience, and look forward to hitting the ground running.”
