Tray.io Appoints Industry Veteran Susan Lally as SVP of Engineering

Former GitHub, McGraw Hill, and CloudBees Executive to Drive Continued Engineering Innovation for Tray.io’s Low-code Automation and Integration Solutions

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Tray.io, the leader in low-code general workflow automation, today announced that Susan Lally has joined as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Lally brings more than 20 years of expertise leading engineering and product organizations for some of the most recognizable technology brands in the world. In her newly appointed role, Lally will lead the Tray.io engineering team and focus her efforts on continued enhancement of Tray.io’s core product lines – the Tray Platform and Tray Embedded, which includes Tray Embedded Native and Tray Embedded Integration Manager. Lally will also concentrate on expanding Tray.io’s world-class engineering organization across multiple technical teams.

Tray.io has a remarkable opportunity to enable entire organizations, including IT and DevOps teams, to be more efficient and scale more effectively,” said Lally. “By dramatically streamlining the frequently resource-intensive work of integrations and automation, we’re giving teams all over the world the power to do more, faster.”

Prior to joining Tray.io, Lally led engineering and product teams at CloudBees, McGraw Hill, GitHub, and Adobe, among others. During her time at CloudBees, Lally oversaw the company’s product organization where she led the vision and delivery across its enterprise DevOps portfolio. While serving as McGraw Hill’s VP of Engineering and Product, she oversaw the company’s $300M LearnSmart suite of adaptive learning products, which is used by more than three million students. At GitHub, she spearheaded the open-source development leader’s efforts to drive platform growth on the SaaS side and to bring GitHub Enterprise to market while transforming the internal engineering organization by introducing Agile development methodology and building out the SRE (site reliability engineering) and product management functions.

Susan brings a proven track record of success leading product and engineering teams at some of the most successful and well-known tech companies in the industry,” said Rich Waldron, CEO and co-founder of Tray.io. “The market’s appetite for low-code solutions is growing at a blistering rate and Susan’s background in both developer tooling and high-growth consumer applications will be integral to the next stage of development for Tray.io’s low-code automation and integration offerings.”

About Tray.io

Tray.io is low-code automation for everyone. The Tray.io General Automation Platform democratizes automation and integration so anyone can easily turn their unique business processes into repeatable and scalable workflows that evolve whenever business needs change. Unlike iPaaS solutions, which are expensive, complex, and code-intensive, Tray.io’s flexible self-service platform makes it simple to build integrations using any API and connect enterprise applications at scale without incremental costs. Process innovation is today’s competitive advantage since companies can no longer differentiate on their tech stack alone. The promise of SaaS led to an avalanche of siloed point solutions that require businesses to force their processes into rigid, predetermined schema. The Tray Platform removes these limitations, empowering both non-technical and technical users to create sophisticated workflow automations that streamline data movement and actions across multiple applications. Freed from tedious and repetitive tasks, citizen automators, product leaders, and IT are able to uplevel their skill set with automation to unlock their full potential and do things in a way that’s right for their business. Teams at leading companies including FICO, New Relic, Segment, and Udemy bring the future of work to life using Tray.io’s solutions. Love your work. Automate the rest.
