SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Chia Network, Inc., a new energy-efficient decentralized blockchain founded by Bram Cohen, today announced it boosted its team with key hires across several divisions, including sales, product development and engineering, to support the global adoption of Chia’s secure programmable money as the premier eco-friendly crypto option.
In addition to doubling Chia’s engineering team since May, the company is committed to onboarding world class industry experts to ensure increased adoption among financial firms, multinational companies and government agencies.

Paul Hainsworth, Vice President of Product
Hainsworth served as a product manager for Amazon, helping build the Alexa ecosystem. From 2016 to 2020 he was CEO at Open Garden, after serving as Vice President of Product Management in 2015. Previously, he served as Director of Product Management at BlackBerry and Head of Mobile Data Services, Prepaid Division of Sprint Nextel.
Steve Booth, Vice President of Sales
Booth spent the last 10 years as Vice President of Eastern Region for Vindicia, where he supported online merchants across multiple business models. Before that, he served as Vice President of Sales at Proclivity Systems and Vice President of Sales & Business Development at Aria Systems.
Trace Galloway, Vice President of Sales Engineering
Galloway for the past 12 years served Vindicia in increasingly key roles including Global Vice President Solution Specialist, CSP Sales Director of North America, Managing Director of Solutions Engineering and Regional Director Sales Engineering. Earlier, he served as Director of Pre-Sales Engineering at Solidcore Systems (acquired by McAfee) and Vice President of Implementation and Field Services at Active Reasoning (acquired by Oracle.)
J. Eckert, Vice President of Ecosystems Operations
Eckert most recently served of Head of California Offices & Director of Partnerships at Genvid Technologies. Previously, he served as 3rd Party Ecosystem Manager for Riot Games, where he led several teams surrounding developer relations and partner relations. Earlier roles included Developer Relations Account Manager at Electronic Arts and Operations Manager at Super Computer International.
Ken Griggs, Senior Director of Customer Success and Professional Services
Griggs joins from Deloitte where he served as Professional Services Delivery Lead, where he was was helping internal and external clients implement and operate Deloitte-developed AI solutions. Prior to Deloitte, he spent 14 years at Nexidia in several notable roles including Product Manager, Component Software Products and Senior Software Engineer.
