MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--FastLabs, the leading rapid medical diagnostic testing company, announced today that Province (Boo) Zamek has been named Chief Operating Officer (COO). Zamek, a seasoned entrepreneur and marketing professional, will lead the company’s ongoing operational growth and will oversee the delivery of its premier medical diagnostics services and advanced preventative solutions.
Responsible for implementation of the company’s strategic initiatives, Zamek will spearhead FastLabs’ tactical day-to-day operations and essential processes. In her new role, she will ensure the company’s objectives are met and growth is on track.
Zamek launched her first startup venture in 2008 with JustAskBoo (JAB), an interactive digital community bulletin newsletter that Zamek expanded to seven metropolitan markets across the US. In 2015 she launched JAB’s sister company, Just Ask Domestic Help, a placement company for domestic helpers into private homes. In 2019 The Just Ask Companies’ assets were acquired by a privately held media company.
Since her exit, Zamek has continued to work exclusively in the startup space, and transitioned into the healthcare industry in 2019. This led her to FastLabs, where she has worked since spring of 2020 as Director of Operations.
Zamek spent the early years of her career in marketing and advertising with Visa International Olympics Headquarters in Atlanta, then 360 Advertising (now Grey Advertising), Northern Trust Bank of Florida in Miami, and subsequently a seven-year tenure as vice president of Kreps De Maria Public Relations.

A graduate of Texas Christian University, Zamek is a Board Member of Baptist Health Foundation (since 2020) and a former Board Member of Miami Bridge (2009-2020). Zamek lives in Palmetto Bay with her husband and two daughters.
