NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Baton Technologies, the market leader in software implementation process management announced today that software veteran, Carsten Thoma has been appointed to the company's Board of Directors. Mr. Thoma joins the Baton Board of Directors with over 25 years of experience building and running world class software companies.
Carsten Thoma is an investor and enterprise software entrepreneur who helped shape the technological shift of an entire industry with Hybris, the company he co-founded and sold to SAP in 2013 in a multi-billion dollar transaction. Mr. Thoma was made Global President at SAP Hybris (now SAP CX), where he created the first end-to-end front office suite. He built the Hybris line into SAP’s fastest growing business unit moving the customer engagement domain into the cloud - a critical shift for SAP into cloud computing. Thoma remained president of SAP Hybris until early 2018.
Thoma will join Baton board members and co-founders Alex Krug and Peter McCoy, both of whom have led early stage companies to successful acquisitions before spearheading the software implementation management software category.
