SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Druva Inc., the leader in Cloud Data Protection and Management, today announced the appointment of Robert Brower as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Partners and Alliances. Overseeing Druva’s rapidly expanding channel program, Druva Compass, and strategic partnerships with industry leaders including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and VMware, Brower will play a key role in building new partnerships, expanding the company’s partner network, and identifying new opportunities to drive future growth.
Brower will be transitioning to this role after joining Druva in the summer of 2020 as the Vice President of Strategic Operations and Chief of Staff, where he was responsible for leading company wide strategic projects and product operations. Prior to joining Druva, Robert worked for Tealium, a leading customer data platform solution, building its technical alliances program and was responsible for doubling prior year bookings through partners within two quarters. He previously spent more than 13 years at Commvault, where he led various organizations, including customer experience, professional services, and the customer education organization. While at Commvault, Robert helped the company secure global partnerships with NetApp, HPE, and Cisco. From 2016-2019, Robert served as the Global VP of Products and Operations and Chief of Staff, where he re-organized product functions, revamped strategic pricing, launched the HyperScale product line, and optimized quote to cash operations.
“Channel partners, and the expertise they bring, are important resources for organizations struggling to meet changing needs and accelerating digital transformation initiatives,” said Chris White, Chief Revenue Officer, Druva. “Data protection is an ideal use case for the cloud, and our channel program is only accelerating as partners expand their cloud expertise and range of cloud-based offerings. Robert’s extensive track record, impressive relationships built over years with partners, and decade-plus of experience in the industry make him the perfect leader to help our organization build on this momentum and achieve new heights.”
“I have found the best partner programs are built on shared corporate values, a joint desire to help others succeed, and a mutual, laser-like focus on delivering the best overall experience for the end user,” said Brower. “I’m excited to take on this role at a company that not only embraces channel partners as a critical part of its success, but approaches wider routes with a channel-first mindset. Working with Druva’s dedicated team and our continuously growing number of outstanding channel partners, I’m confident we will help even more businesses thrive in the cloud era.”
Druva Compass, introduced in 2019, has focused on bringing partners enablement assets, accreditation programs, data insights, targeted sales plays, and go-to-market resources to help their customers transition to a comprehensive cloud-based data protection solution. Through all of these efforts, the program aims to help partners position their own business for predictable, long term, recurring revenue. In August 2020, Druva announced a partnership with Tech Data, designed to bring customers access to a wider set of preferred partners, the ability to safeguard data more effectively, and to further reduce costs while accelerating cloud migration efforts.
