Mitsubishi Electric Named to CDP Supplier Engagement Leaderboard

Third top ranking, including climate change and water categories, received in 2020 evaluations

TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that its environmental efforts related to supply chains have earned the company selection to the 2020 “Supplier engagement leaderboard,” the highest ranking in the CDP Supplier Engagement program operated by CDP, an international non-governmental organization that supports environmental disclosure. This is the fourth year in which Mitsubishi Electric has earned a top ranking for excellent actions and strategies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and climate-change risk throughout its supply chain.

Mitsubishi Electric also received top-rank “A List” designations in two other CDP categories in 2020—Climate Change and Water—as announced on December 9, 2020.
