Govini CEO Tara Murphy Dougherty Joins National Defense University Foundation’s Board of Directors

ARLINGTON, Va.--()--The National Defense University (NDU) Foundation has announced the appointment of Tara Murphy Dougherty to its board of directors. Ms. Murphy Dougherty’s extensive leadership experience in both the private and public sectors will enhance the Foundation’s ongoing support of NDU, the nation’s preeminent education institution for advanced national security strategy and leadership development. As a member of the NDU Foundation Board, she will serve on the Development Committee with a focus on increasing the Foundation's overall level of partnership, programmatic, and resource support to the esteemed university.

Ms. Murphy Dougherty has held leadership positions in technology across industry, government, and non-profit sectors, including at Palantir Technologies and serving as Chief of Staff for Global Strategic Affairs in the Office of the Secretary of Defense. She holds a BS from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MA in Security Studies from Georgetown University. She is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
