NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tim Hortons® U.S. is celebrating Independence Day on July 4 by offering a themed DIY donut kit for guests to decorate their own red, white and blue patriotic treats. Also for July 4th, get your taste buds ready because Tim Hortons U.S. is bringing back a donut that actually POPS – with popping candy, that is. The brand is celebrating America’s Independence Day with its Independence Day Fireworks Donut.

The DIY donut kit comes with red, white and blue fixings for the whole family to customize their own donuts to celebrate the national holiday. The donut kit includes six ring donuts, containers of vanilla fondant and red, white and blue sprinkles.* Guests can share their creations on social and tag @TimHortonsUS on Instagram.

The Independence Day Fireworks Donut features the colors of the USA flag, red, white and blue, with its sprinkle and Fizzy Cluster toppings. These sugary clusters pop in your mouth as a festive surprise.

The patriotic Fireworks Donut will be available at a recommended price of $1.49 at participating U.S. locations while supplies last. Additionally, starting June 29, Uber Eats is offering a $0 Delivery Fee on Tim Hortons U.S. orders through July 5.**
