ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Belden Inc. (NYSE:BDC), a leading global supplier of specialty networking solutions, today announced the development of a new Global Partner Program that will transform its go-to-market strategy amid changing buying behaviors and market forces.
Belden serves a broad range of industries with an end-to-end solution across the globe, requiring a unique set of partners to accommodate end-user needs and demand. As the new program is established, Belden will strategically assess and select partners most aligned with their business model, end-user base and target industries.
Key Program Details
The environment that Belden operates within as well as buyer behavior is continuously evolving, driving Belden to adapt its go-to-market strategy. The Global Partner Program will simplify Belden’s channel organization, making it easier for partners to do business and grow with Belden.
With a Q3 2020 launch planned, the program will establish clear criteria and guidelines globally, allowing for a common structure in various regions with local execution. In addition, the program will offer partners benefits such as technical training and certification, sales enablement and marketing resources as well as loyalty and financial incentives. “This is an exciting time for Belden and its partners,” said Paul Turner, Senior Vice President, Sales, “The market is changing and this program provides the opportunity to realign and innovate together to better meet end user needs.”
With a goal of mutual growth for both partners and Belden, the program will narrow efforts to those partners that pose the most potential moving forward. As the company prepares for a public launch later this year, there will be a review of existing partners to determine fit and assess if and how to consolidate its partner base.
