LITTLETON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SANBlaze Technology, the leader in NVMe SSD testing, announced today the availability of its VirtuaLUN (VLUN) V8.0 software release supporting both Native NVMe PCIe Gen4 testing and NVMe-over-Fabrics (NVMe-oF™) including RoCE/RDMA and TCP/IP.
Version 8.0 introduces the "Certified by SANBlaze" (SBCert) test methodology and accompanying built-in scripts allowing the testing of all aspects of performance and compliance. Tests focused on exception testing, data integrity, and specification compliance are packaged with a simple-to-use GUI. An underlying API allows full control of the automated test suite from your own test infrastructure. SBCert tests range from simple read/write to tests that exercise every aspect of NVMe architecture — from queue depth to Namespace Management, from SGL testing to device removal/insertion testing, and from signal glitching, power fault and margin testing to extensive reset testing.
Coupled with integrated Quarch risers plugged directly into the system backplane and controlled via the SBCert test suite, Version 8.0 extends the test capabilities to true pull/plug and fine grained PCIe Gen4 signal glitching, a must have for complete verification of NVMe devices.
“The Certified by SANBlaze test suite coupled with the SBExpress-RM4 platform raises the bar for NVMe device qualification, giving NVMe OEMs a powerful tool to verify the compliance of PCIe Gen4 NVMe devices before introducing them into their infrastructure,” said Vince Asbridge, Founder and President, SANBlaze. “From TCG Opal support to NVMe namespace management, to the implementation of NVMe-oF for Fibre Channel, Version 8.0 is a major step in the life cycle of NVMe for both PCIe and Fabric connected devices.”
In addition, SANBlaze’s Version V8.0 software and SBExpress-RM4 hardware allows you to test the six different clocking modes (SRIS/SRNS) on a single platform, saving you time and cost while ensuring your drives are thoroughly tested and compliant.
