TAIPEI, Taiwan & AUCKLAND, New Zealand--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Redpoint Brewing Company (Taipei, Taiwan) and Behemoth Brewing Company (Auckland, New Zealand) are announcing the February 6th, 2020 release of The Pomellinator, a collaboration beer brewed in Taipei, Taiwan. This unique New England IPA pours amazingly hazy with a bright and persistent head. It features a banquet of complex hops up front, including Citra and Mosaic, which is complemented and balanced by the light, sweet pomelo fruit behind it. With a creamy mouthfeel and gentle carbonation, it leaves notes of pomelo lingering on the pallet to round out each sip.
Doug Pierce, co-founder of Redpoint Brewing explained, “Having the opportunity to brew a NEIPA with Behemoth and Andrew Childs, one of the premiere craft brewers in Australasia, was a great way to end a spectacular 2019 year.”
"What a way to end 2019 for Behemoth, by brewing at Redpoint in Taiwan," said Andrew Childs, owner and brewer of Behemoth. "I met Spencer and Doug a few years ago at SEABREW in the Philippines and we now work with the same importer in Hong Kong who suggested we should brew a beer together. Now that our beers are available locally it is pretty exciting for us to brew with a pioneer of craft beer in Taiwan."
