GumGum Named to Built In LA’s 2020 ‘Best Places to Work’ List

The honor comes as the company introduces a new student loan repayment benefit program for employees

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GumGum, Inc., a technology and artificial intelligence company specializing in solutions for advertising and media, today announced that it has been included on Built In LA’s list of Best Places to Work in 2020. GumGum was selected for inclusion on the list based on Built In’s algorithmic analysis of employee compensation and benefits data. The recognition coincides with the company’s addition of an innovative student loan repayment assistance program to the company’s robust benefit package.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as one of the best places to work in Los Angeles,” said GumGum VP of People Operations Kelly Battelle. “GumGum strives to give our employees the same cutting-edge, white-glove service that we give our clients. Being included on this list really validates that effort––especially considering how many great employers are vying for the distinction in LA.”

A regular recipient of workplace and employer honors, GumGum provides employees with wide-ranging benefits and perks, which include flexible time off, wellness subsidies, commuter subsidies and dog-friendly offices. The company earned this latest recognition without Built In considering the company’s newest benefit offering, implemented just last week. Through a partnership with Goodly, a Bay-area startup which facilitates student loan debt repayment as an employee benefit, GumGum’s employees can now receive employer contributions directly to their student loans.

Maria Christopoulos Katris, CEO and Co-Founder of Built In, said: “We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our 2020 honorees. Built In aims to change lives by connecting talented tech professionals with jobs they were born to do. These companies have become part of that mission because they stand for more than just the work they’re doing. They stand for their people and purpose.”
