NORTH BETHESDA, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sodexo, a global leader in food and services, today announced the appointment of Orla Muldoon as General Counsel, North America, effective March 23, 2026. In this role, Muldoon oversees the company’s legal, compliance and government affairs functions across the U.S. and Canada. She reports jointly to Thierry Delaporte in his capacity as CEO for Sodexo North America and Angelo Piccirillo, Group General Counsel and will serve on the North America Leadership Team.

Muldoon brings more than 20 years of international in‑house legal experience supporting complex, highly regulated organizations in the food, beverage and agriculture sectors. Her oversight includes legal risk, litigation, compliance and regulatory matters, corporate governance, data privacy and government affairs. In partnership with finance and business leaders, her role also supports enterprise risk management and governance practices across the business.

Muldoon joins Sodexo from Archer‑Daniels‑Midland Company (ADM), where she spent more than a decade in senior legal and executive roles globally, including Chief Counsel for Carbohydrate Solutions, Chief Counsel for the EMEIA region, Vice President of Global Business Development and M&A and most recently Chief Counsel for Compliance Risk Management. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Kellogg Company and Atlantic Industries (part of The Coca‑Cola Company), following several years in private practice with Matheson and McCann FitzGerald. She also serves as a Director of Trinity College Dublin and supports governance initiatives for AsIAm, an Irish autism advocacy charity. Muldoon is qualified to practice law in New York, Illinois, Ireland and England & Wales and holds law degrees from University College Dublin and the University of London.
