Caregility Appoints New Chief Nursing Officer

Susan Kristiniak to Lead Caregility’s Clinical Innovation and Expand Healthcare Modernization

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Caregility Corporation, an enterprise telehealth leader dedicated to connecting care for patients and clinicians everywhere through innovative virtual care and AI-powered solutions, today announced the appointment of Susan Kristiniak, DHA, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, AHN-BC, as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). In her role, Susan will lead Caregility’s clinical team and play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s innovative solutions to help healthcare organizations modernize care delivery.

Susan brings a wealth of experience spanning hands-on clinical care to executive leadership within health systems, uniquely positioning her to bridge the gap between clinical needs and operational strategy for Caregility’s customers. Her expertise will enhance Caregility’s ability to drive measurable value across healthcare organizations while maintaining a strong focus on quality care and operational efficiency.

Most recently, Susan served as Vice President of Clinical Integration and Quality Assurance, where she supported an informatics-driven program leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize hospital operations and clinical care delivery. In this role, she collaborated closely with C-suite executives—including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, and CNOs—to analyze hospital data, form multidisciplinary workgroups, and deliver projects focused on improving nursing, quality, and patient safety.

“Caregility has witnessed remarkable growth, with an increasing number of customers expanding their inpatient virtual care programs, especially through virtual nursing,” said Mike Brandofino, President and COO of Caregility. “This shift has elevated Caregility to a foundational partner for many health systems, engaging not only clinical leaders but also corporate and operational stakeholders. Susan’s expertise, experience, and strong network of relationships uniquely position her to work across the executive suite and help us deliver even greater value to our customers.”

In response to her appointment, Susan Kristiniak, Chief Nursing Officer of Caregility, commented, “I am thrilled to join Caregility and contribute to the company’s continued evolution as the leader in virtual care platforms. Caregility has built an impressive reputation with its innovative solutions and growing list of prestigious customers. My focus will be to deepen our partnerships across health systems and ensure that our customers fully realize the clinical and economic benefits of enhancing care with Caregility.”

Ron Gaboury, CEO of Caregility, added, “From its inception, Caregility has maintained a strong clinical focus. With Susan’s appointment, we will expand on this focus. Susan’s rare combination of clinical expertise and financial acumen allows her to bridge the gap between clinical innovation and operational strategy. She will be instrumental in driving meaningful conversations with our customers about the economic value of virtual care and its positive impact on organizational productivity while ensuring our solutions continue to meet the highest clinical standards.”

With Susan Kristiniak at the helm of its clinical team, Caregility is poised to lead healthcare modernization efforts, delivering innovative virtual care solutions that drive better outcomes for patients and providers alike.
