Four Gravely PC Attorneys Named to 2025 Best Lawyers Guide

Marc Gravely, Michael Gavito, William Baine and Jonathan Lisenby recognized for legal excellence

DALLAS--()--Four Gravely PC attorneys have earned recognition in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, one of the industry’s oldest and most widely respected legal guides.

Firm founder Marc Gravely, partner Michael Gavito, attorneys William Baine and Jonathan Lisenby each earned recognition. Mr. Gravely was honored for construction law, insurance law and construction litigation. Mr. Gavito and Mr. Baine earned recognition for construction litigation and Mr. Lisenby was honored for insurance litigation.

“It is always nice to be recognized,” said Mr. Gravely. “To receive that recognition from our peers -- lawyers who understand what we do every day for our clients – makes this honor even more special, and we are grateful.”

Honored by Best Lawyers annually since 2013, Mr. Gravely’s expertise is handling construction defect and insurance coverage disputes. As an advocate for property owners, boards of directors, community associations and homeowners’ associations, he has secured millions of dollars on behalf of property owners and public entities, including public hospitals, county governments and school districts.

In his eighth year to be recognized by Best Lawyers, Mr. Gavito focuses on representing property owners, both public and private. His experience as a former defense lawyer in construction defect claims allows him to anticipate defense strategies and minimize or defeat their efforts on behalf of his clients.

For more than three decades, Mr. Baine has litigated insurance and contractual disputes, construction defects, defective design, business torts and fraud. This is his first year on the Best Lawyers list.

Mr. Lisenby is a high-stakes litigator who regularly advocates for Texas property owners and insurance policyholders. He focuses on holding insurance companies financially accountable to their policy promises and ensuring that general contractors and building designers are held accountable for shoddy or misrepresented construction.

Honorees are selected through Best Lawyers’ review process, which includes nominations, peer review voting, thorough analysis and verification.

Gravely PC has developed a national reputation based on record outcomes in large and complex construction defect litigation and first-party and bad-faith insurance disputes. The firm's veteran litigators are trusted advisers to commercial property owners, boards and governmental entities in disputes involving general contractors, design professionals and insurance companies.
