Michaels Plans to Hire 15,000 Employees for the Holiday Season

National Hiring Day Event Taking Place September 17 in U.S. and Canadian Stores

IRVING, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Michaels, the largest specialty retailer of arts, crafts, and home décor in North America, today announced it will hire 15,000 seasonal positions across its stores and distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada in preparation for the 2022 holiday season.

Michaels will host a seasonal hiring event in all U.S. and Canadian stores on Saturday, September 17 from 12 – 4 p.m. local time. Candidates are welcome to apply in advance online, or in person during the in-store events where interviews for qualified candidates will also take place.
