METAIRIE, La.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Gulf Coast Bank and Trust, Home Bank and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB Dallas) will award $32,000 in Partnership Grant Program (PGP) funds to James Storehouse Louisiana (JSL). The organization will use the funds toward marketing expenses, legal assistance and operational capacity building.
Local dignitaries will join bank representatives in awarding the funds at a check presentation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019 during the 7th inning stretch at the Baby Cakes game (Shrine Field on Airline) in Metairie, Louisiana. The media is encouraged to attend.
JSL’s mission is to provide supportive services for foster children and their families in the New Orleans, Louisiana, area through services such as mentorship, training, job placement and affordable housing resources.
The structure of the PGP enables FHLB Dallas member institutions such as Gulf Coast Bank and Trust and Home Bank to contribute $500 to $4,000 to a community-based organization (CBO), which FHLB Dallas will match at a 3:1 ratio.
