Dr. Burns is a highly influential board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon from Dallas. He serves as a Senior Partner at the Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute and Medical Director of EpiCentre and Dallas Medical Skin Solutions. He is a renowned national and international speaker and authority on lasers, high tech surgical and non-surgical applications, cosmetic surgery, vascular anomalies and birthmarks. He is also the founder of the DFW Vascular Anomalies and Birthmark Clinic at Children’s Medical Center. He served more than 20 years as assistant professor of plastic surgery at UT Southwestern and continues to teach residents and fellows currently through Dallas Plastic Surgery Institute. Dr. Burns leads one of the largest plastic surgery practices in the world and served many years as a board member of one of the most prestigious clinical laser societies in the world – the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. He served as president of that society in 2006-07. His extensive background in research and development and approach to cosmetic surgery makes him an invaluable addition to the company’s board.
