MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Holy Name Medical Center has selected CareCloud, a platform for high-growth medical practices, as their exclusive electronic health record (EHR) and practice management partner for their outpatient locations. Holy Name is an award-winning, not-for-profit health organization based in Teaneck, New Jersey that has seen rapid growth through its physician network, Holy Name Medical Partners.
Holy Name developed the majority of their hospital health technology in-house. Under the leadership of president and CEO Michael Maron, Holy Name has assembled its own team of computer scientists and engineers, who support a proprietary EHR system for inpatient services. Holy Name partnered with CareCloud after completing a rigorous assessment of technology options for integrating and managing a large, complex and growing set of ambulatory practices.
“An important way we deliver on our commitment to provide high-quality, affordable care is by providing our clinicians and staff the technology that supports a patient-centered care model,” said Michael Maron, president and CEO of Holy Name Medical Center. “CareCloud not only exceeded the rigorous requirements we have for privacy, security, functionality and ease of use, they also offer an expertise in the specific needs of ambulatory care practices that complements our internal capabilities. CareCloud’s technology platform will be a force multiplier for Holy Name as we continue to grow and serve more patients throughout the region.”
As part of the new collaboration, CareCloud is supporting the medical center as teams prepare for the data portability requirements of working with accountable care organizations (ACOs). Holy Name also is leveraging CareCloud’s population health management (PHM) capabilities powered by Lightbeam Health Solutions to identify and engage patients with gaps in care to improve quality and outcomes.
“CareCloud and Holy Name share a focus on putting the right tools in the right hands so physicians can do what they went to medical school to do – practice medicine and take care of patients,” said Ken Comée, CEO of CareCloud. “Through our collaboration, we will expand that capability across all points of care where their affiliated providers are delivering ambulatory services.”
Working in conjunction with Holy Name’s revenue cycle management partner, Pacific Global, CareCloud will help streamline financial and clinical workflows within Holy Name’s ambulatory practices.
