RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Octo, an award-winning provider of technology and digital services to the Federal government, today announced that it has been awarded a five-year, $11 million IT project management contract by the Department of Health and Human Services’ (DHHS), Office of IT Strategy, Policy and Governance (OSPG).
Building off a four year partnership with OSPG, Octo will assist the Department to strengthen its program management and oversight capability to support its ever expanding portfolio of complex IT programs and systems. Octo will be responsible for providing program support; strategy, policy, and governance support services; vendor management office support services; and administrative services. These efforts are intended to allow the Department to successfully deliver IT programs, use data to drive decisions, and meet new IT challenges of the future.

Previously a subcontractor, for this award Octo was selected as the prime contractor based on its in-depth understanding of OSPG’s requirements coupled with its technical expertise and strong past performance across all requirements of the contract. In addition, iVision Consulting will be providing strategic IT planning support under the contract.
The OSPG contract extends Octo’s engagement with HHS to over 10 years. It is a one year contract with four additional option years. The total value of the contract is $11.1 million.
