HEIDELBERG, Germany--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Virtual Forge, leading provider of security solutions for SAP systems, is expanding its international presence with a branch office in Dubai and an office in Singapore. In the United Arab Emirates, Virtual Forge is working closely with local CAFM specialists IMSWARE (http://www.imsware.com). In the Asia-Pacific region, a Virtual Forge hub is being established in Singapore.
Solutions from Virtual Forge have already been seeing success on the Arabian peninsula for some time. Virtual Forge has taken a first step closer to customers by entering into a close, local partnership with IMSWARE in Dubai. The two companies have joined together to support SAP customers directly under the brand “Virtual Forge Middle East”.
“In addition to having a local presence, carrying out operations in the Middle East will now be much easier,” explained Andreas Fritz, Director of Strategic Management. “Training, implementations and consulting projects will be significantly more flexible and less complex.”
Likewise, a growing number of companies in the Asia-Pacific region have come to trust Virtual Forge’s experience as their trusted advisor for SAP security, compliance and quality. To provide the best possible support for customers, partners and interested parties in the APAC region, a new Virtual Forge hub with an office in Singapore is being established. Virtual Forge APAC will provide comprehensive support from local experts on the markets in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and China.
ERP expert Leo Ip has been brought in to lead the new office. “I am excited to work for the market leader in SAP security. The timing for boosting the market presence in APAC could not be better and I am confident that we will quickly see success,” said Mr. Ip.
According to Jochen Fischer, Head of International Sales at Virtual Forge, “the advantage of the branch office in Singapore is that we can carry out risk analyses, penetration tests and audits rapidly and efficiently at a local level for customers. Consequently, we will be able to immediately react to risks concerning SAP and ensure long-term security and compliance.”
Virtual Forge has been active in both regions for years from within Germany and has already won prestigious customers. “We intend to build on this success by attracting new customers and projects,” stated Virtual Forge CEO Dr. Markus Schumacher.
