DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--More than 75 kids at the Denver Parks & Recreation Barnum Summer Day Camp each received their own professional bike helmet donated by UnitedHealthcare.
UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling team members Lauretta Hanson and Lauren Hall, who are participating in the Colorado Classic cycling race, helped lead bike and helmet safety lessons, and provided stretching tips to encourage kids to be safe, stay active and participate in the various events for kids and families during the three-day Colorado Classic. UnitedHealthcare mascot Dr. Health E. Hound was on hand to help kids decorate their helmets with decals and hand out healthy snacks.
