AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Embarcadero Technologies (a division of IDERA), a leading provider of productivity tools for application development, today announced a partnership with CData Software to deliver a suite of Enterprise Connectors for application developers. This collaboration helps developers deliver connected solutions with a wider range of enterprise applications, such as accounting, CRM, marketing automation, ERP, collaboration, NoSQL, big data and more.
The result of a year-long collaboration effort, Enterprise Connectors leverages Embarcadero RAD Studio FireDAC technology to reduce the complexity of connecting to multiple data sources, and make CData's adapters easily accessible to Delphi and C++ developers. The company offers two different CData Enterprise Connector Packs, providing customers easy integration to 80+ popular data sources such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, SugarCRM, MailChimp and JIRA.
By incorporating standards-compliant interfaces like FireDAC for real-time access to cloud or on-premises applications, Enterprise Connectors provides developers a unified approach to seamlessly build applications that connect to leading enterprise data. This simplifies the developer's task in learning and keeping up with multiple evolving APIs, while focusing on the key benefits of their connectivity.
“Developers use Embarcadero tools to build and maintain business-critical applications across a wide range of industries. We have learned through our many years of experience in the market that RAD Studio developers are highly selective in their choices of third party tools,” said Amit Sharma, CEO of CData. “Our engineering teams have worked diligently over the past year to deliver an exceptional framework of FireDAC components for SaaS, NoSQL and big data integration, designed to meet and exceed the demanding quality standards of the RAD Studio community. We believe they will be very pleased with the results."
“CData has a proven track record in quality components that are used by leading application platforms. With Enterprise Connectors, developers can deliver connected solutions with a wider range of enterprise applications faster and more easily than ever before,” says Atanas Popov, General Manager of Embarcadero. “This allows our customers to derive exceptional value from the visual development environment and cross-platform frameworks that we offer. The speed with which one could build a robust app, for example for Salesforce automation, will be greater than anything I have seen in the market today.”
Enterprise Connectors will be seamlessly integrated with Delphi and C++Builder Visual Component Library (VCL), FireMonkey (cross-platform UX framework), and RAD Server (MEAP platform), through the FireDAC framework. This will open numerous opportunities for scalable single-source code, cross-platform applications. Easy deployment and rapid access to Windows 10, Apple and Android stores will provide global reach.
The Enterprise Connector Beta product will be available to Embarcadero customers on update subscription initially (through the GetIt store). It will be followed shortly by a Controlled Availability version, available for purchase. To learn more, visit: https://www.embarcadero.com/enterprise-connectors.
