ICP Construction Appoints Karl Geissler as New Director of Track

ANDOVER, Mass.--()--The California Sports Surfaces (CSS) division of ICP Construction (ICP) is proud to introduce Karl Geissler as our new Director of Track. CSS, as part of ICP, is the leading supplier of Plexitrac Advanced Track Surfaces and other prestigious sports surfacing brands such as DecoTurf, Plexicushion Prestige, Rebound Ace, Premier Sports Coatings, and Premier Court. Plexitrac systems are advanced track surfacing systems that provide runners with the highest levels of surface performance for safe training and competition.

Geissler comes to ICP Construction with over 18 years of experience in the track and field and sports construction industries, working with sports companies to grow their brands and connections to drive sales and increase brand awareness. His experience within the track and field industry includes twenty-one years of coaching, working with athletes and coaches at various levels of competition, and the US Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). He is a US Track and Field Level 2 certified coach for sprints/hurdles and jumps, and has served as a Level 1 Lead Instructor, demonstrating his ability to gather and share knowledge within the track and field community.

“Karl’s coaching background and experience in the track industry brings crucial insight to our team as we continue to work with track coaches to better understand what they need to build a successful program,” said John Graham, Vice President, Sports Surfaces Group at ICP Construction.

“As a coach and member of the sports industry, I believe that we have an obligation to give back,” says Geissler. “This realization started with my first coaching experience as a volunteer with the Special Olympics and has helped to shape my career, serving as a volunteer track coach and organizing programs for athletes experiencing financial hardship. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of the sport and look forward to growing the CSS division while supporting the success of coaches and athletes of all levels.”
